Pocket automatically converts your bank transfers into Bitcoin and sends them directly to your own Bitcoin wallet. No user account. No registration. Directly from your online banking.
Purchase Limits
- CHF 1000 per transaction / day
- EUR 950 per transaction / day
Fees
Pocket charges a service fee of 1.5%. This fee is transparent and includes all our costs. You always get the current Kraken market price, with no hidden markups.
Additionally, there is a Bitcoin network fee (approx. 500–1000 satoshis ≈ 10–25 ¢). If you send several times a day to the same address, the network fee is only charged once.
Fee Breakdown (Example)
- 1.5% service fee ⇒ 98 EUR is invested in Bitcoin.
- Exchange rate (Dec 22, 2021, 3:24 p.m.): 1 BTC = 43,097 EUR.
- 98 EUR / 43,097 EUR ≈ 0.00228554 BTC (purchased).
- Network fee: 0.00000039 BTC.
- Payout amount: 0.00228554 BTC − 0.00000039 BTC = 0.00228515 BTC.
Transparency and Rate Verification
Pocket does not apply any hidden markups. You can always check the rate used (Kraken market price at the time of execution) in the app.
