❗ How to make sure the EPG is displayed correctly for your StreamTV channels
❓ Why is there no EPG displayed for some channels?
This is often due to app settings or the way the EPG is provided by the channel. Here you’ll find our recommended configuration.
⚙️ TiviMate: Set up EPG correctly
- Open the TiviMate app
- Go to settings
- Select the EPG menu item
- Set the following:
- Update on app start: ON
- Update on playlist change: ON
- Update interval: 24 hours
(Please do not set shorter intervals – frequent updates put strain on our servers.)
ℹ️ Good to know: Why does your EPG sometimes disappear during the day?
The EPG is only displayed as long as program data is available from the channel itself. If a channel reloads its schedule at midnight, the EPG update happens then. Before that, it may temporarily be missing during the day.
❗ Tip:
If you notice missing information, you can manually update the EPG – directly in the app.
✨ Outlook:
We are currently working on a solution to make your EPG preload automatically – regardless of whether the channel restarts. Then it will remain permanently available for you.
